Telugu Association of Scotland is an ethnic minority cultural organisation
comprising telugu-speaking people living in Scotland (originated from state
of Andhra Pradesh, India).

Telugu Association of Scotland is organising a party to usher in the Telugu New Year 2009 on Saturday April 18th 2009 17:00 hours at Edinburgh. The venue details are as below:

Reachable from City bypass & A71 (Near to Heriot Watt university) and by bus from City centre take 44 or 44A (http://lothianbuses.com/r44.php) towards Balerno (ask driver for Currie Community high school stop).
The event is also partly sponsored by Bank of India, Glasgow. We have an
exciting prize by lucky members to win by just purchasing a raffle ticket for a
price of £2 (GBP Two pounds only) per ticket and no limit on purchasing this
raffle by a member. The grand prize for this raffle is 1 complimentary flight
ticket (return) to Hyderabad, India sponsored by Kakatiya Travels (on
exceptional case we can consider for Bangalore or Chennai with airlines approval
only, terms and conditions apply). Please note that to be eligible to win this
complimentary a minimum 100 tickets must be sold out at the event and this
raffle ticket is valid between 17:00 and 21:00 hours on 18th April 2009 with the
winner to be present in person at the event. Also there are many other exciting
prizes attached to this raffle event, so do not miss out your own lucky chance
to be grab the prize on UGADI 2009 celebrations evening.
To mark the festive celebration, the Executive Committee is organising the
evening with a blend of Cultural & Entertainment programmes for your pleasure.
To promote the local talent we are inviting every enthusiastic member & their
family to perform & participate in the cultural show, we have planned and
planning to do more number of programs involving YOU & your children. This way,
we are hoping that there will be a lot of interaction between the audiences and

There will be an entry ticket of £10 for a family, £5 for single and £2.50 for students/OAP's.
